Hello Dragon Boat Paddling Community: we have seen an amazing number of registrations for our various teams, and we are on currently on pace for a record number of paddlers. Thank you to everyone who is already registered!

The following club teams are FULL for the 2024 dragon boat season:

PaddleActive (Thursdays)

We are still accepting paddlers on PaddleStrong and the Barrie Northmen. Please see below for more details, and be sure to register before these fill up too!

The following teams are 1/2 to 3/4 full (as of April 20):

Barrie Northmen – Intermediate/Competitive Men’s (Open Division)
Description: intermediate men’s (open) division team – NEW PADDLERS WELCOMED!
Practices: Wednesday evenings, 6:30-7:30pm, from late May to first week of September
Races: Hamilton – July 7 and GWN Challenge in Toronto – September 7 and 8
Coach: Carrie Gordon
Cost: $275 plus $25 membership fee

PaddleStrong – Intermediate/Competitive Mixed
Description: intermediate/competitive dragon boat team – NEW PADDLERS WELCOMED!
Practices: Thursday evenings, 6:30-7:30pm, from late May to late August
Races: Welland – June 8 (subject to change), Barrie – August 17, and one other festival of the team’s choosing
Coaches: Sean Levison & Brad Hansen
Cost: $300 plus $25 membership fee
