Description

The Mixed Barries is made up of paddlers from all our various club teams as well as new paddlers. We will be paddling together for the month of September, with one competition at Christie Lake.

Skill Level: All skill levels

Practices: 1x per week on-water training, for four weeks

Races: 1

Practices:

4 practices – 1 hour per week. Practices start Thursday September 5th, from 6:30 to 7:30pm until September 26th

Festivals:

The Mixed Barries will be attending the following festivals for the 2024 season:

  • Christie Lake – September 28th

Fees:

The 2024 season fees are: $100 Team Fee + $25 DBB fee = $125.00. Fees are due September 1st.

What does my team fee include?

  • professional coaching ($50 – $100 per team per practice)
  • boat rental ($70 – $110 per team per practice)
  • use of paddle and life jacket for all practices and races (up to $350 to buy new per paddler)
  • festival fees ($750 to $1,750 per team per festival)

What’s not included?

  • team jersey (approximately $50, yours to keep)
  • transportation and accommodations for out of town races, if necessary
  • charitable fundraising requirements for various festivals (anywhere from $0 to $1,250 per team per festival)
