That’s What She Said (Women’s Division)

Description

That’s What She Said Team was created to give those women in the community a chance to improve their dragon boating skills while gaining experience through community and competitive dragon boat events.  Designed for recreational and competitive paddlers who would like to see their skill improve and who are looking to be a force on the water.

Paddlers with all levels of experiences paddle together for several weeks over the course of the spring and summer and compete in 3 events in 2025.

Practices:

TWSS will begin weekly practices starting May 27th, occurring every Tuesday until August 26th. Practices are scheduled for 6:30 – 7:30 pm.

Festivals:

• Peterborough – June 14th
• Barrie – Saturday August 16th or 23rd (to be confirmed)
• One other festival of the team’s choosing

Fees:

• 2025 season fees have not been finalized. Team fees will include the cost of annual membership fee, regattas, practices, boat rentals, coaching and steers person
• Fees are due May 15th.
